Frances Williams (b. 1798) of Treffos, Llansadwrn, Anglesey, ne Lloyd, was the daughter of Thomas Lloyd of Glangwna, Caernarfon and Whitehall, Shrewsbury. Frances was interested in painting, drawing and astronomy and she and husband James Williams (1790-1872) raised funds to buy lifeboats and started the Anglesey Lifeboat Association.
